manila02Camacho & Associates traces its beginnings way back in 1959, when Atty. Manuel N. Camacho started his solo practice in the province of La Union right after passing the bar. After two years, he continued his solo practice in Manila with just a one-table office at Nueva Street, Escolta. He eventually transferred his office to Makati City and continued his practice under the name and style Camacho & Associates which is a duly-registered law firm.

The growth in the Firm’s clients brought with it the need for a bigger office prompting Atty. Camacho to move to Capitol Hills, Quezon City. The move was also convenient as Capitol Hills was near the University of the Philippines where Atty. Camacho was a Professor of Law.  In 2009, Atty. Camacho moved the office to its present location at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City to keep in tune with the changing demands of clients and to bring the Firm closer to a central business district. The Firm is scheduled to transfer by January 2011 to a newly acquired office at Infinity Tower, Bonifacio Global City, which will be the permanent office of the law firm.

The lawyers of the Firm are mostly graduates of the University of the Philippines, one of the premier law schools in the country. The Firm takes pride in representing a diverse set of local and foreign clients. With different backgrounds, these clients vary in nature and structure ranging from large corporations, medium-sized entities, to non-profit organizations.  Also, a number of individual clients engage the services of the Firm.  These clients cover every business and industry, including admiralty and maritime commerce, insurance, housing and real estate, construction, manpower services, telecommunications, manufacturing and trading

Among the Firm’s current clients are Alcorn Gold Resources, Zuellig Brokers Insurance Inc., Ultramar Brokers Reinsurance Inc., Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, Inc., Premier Shipping Lines, Inc., Matsya Shipping Corporation, Fidelity Partners (an American Company), Huengwa Industries (Korea), Philodril Corporation, Anglo Philippine Oil and Mining Corporation, San Jose Oil Co., Artemis Salt, LCL Technology, Thira Shipping Co.
